Full Job Description

Families First is a multi-disciplinary team with the Family Front Door service that operates a pod-based way of working with Children and their families witin Worcestershire. The primary aim of this innovative way of working is to enable families to create and continue positive change in order to prevent escalating worries and concerns. You will need to have great communication skills, the ability to work autonomously, be confident talking to a wide range of people, as well as experience of working with people who have drug and alcohol issues. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate substance misuse support and intervention to adults and children, you may also be the Lead Professional in the Families First Model. Using harm reduction methodology so individuals can positively change their lives and parents/carers can provide safe care for children. You will be working holistically with families arranging access to other services and assisting with practical problems that are present as a result of substance misuse. We're looking for people who are caring and non-judgemental, with creative ideas, who have a passion for working with vulnerable people.
