Full Job Description

Do you have a passion for Mathematics and the ability to inspire pupils to achieve their full potential? Renaissance Education is looking for an enthusiastic, committed and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join our specialist school, delivering engaging, high-quality teaching that builds pupils' confidence, develops their mathematical understanding and supports strong academic progress.

You will plan and deliver well-structured Mathematics lessons that challenge, motivate and engage learners with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Using your subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies, you will adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs, address gaps in knowledge and help pupils develop the skills and confidence to succeed in Mathematics.

You will take responsibility for planning, teaching, assessing and monitoring pupil progress within your subject area, using assessment information to inform teaching and ensure that every learner is appropriately supported and challenged. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will contribute to curriculum development, share effective practice and maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement.

At Renaissance Education, we believe that every pupil deserves access to an ambitious, inclusive and academically focused curriculum. Our approach combines high-quality teaching with appropriate therapeutic support, creating a positive learning environment where pupils can develop academically, socially and emotionally.

In return, you will join a supportive and forward-thinking organisation that values its staff and invests in their development. You will have access to continuous professional development (CPD), regular professional growth opportunities, breakfast briefings, relevant training and opportunities to share best practice as part of a collaborative team.

If you are passionate about Mathematics, committed to raising achievement and motivated to make a meaningful difference to pupils' educational outcomes, we would love to hear from you.
