Sir James Smith's School is seeking an ambitious, motivated and inspirational Subject Leader of English to lead our thriving department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or existing middle leader who is passionate about delivering an exceptional English curriculum and committed to ensuring every student achieves their full potential.
As Subject Leader of English, you will lead a dedicated team of practitioners, shape outstanding teaching and learning, and drive progress and attainment across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a vital role in the school's continued improvement journey and work closely with senior leaders to ensure the very best provision for our students.
We are looking for someone who:

- Can lead curriculum development, assessment and teaching practice with confidence.
