About us
NPTC Group of Colleges is one of the largest Further Education providers in Wales, providing almost every conceivable vocational area of education and training including an exciting and varied programme of full and part-time courses stretching across locations from South to Mid Wales. NPTC Group of Colleges has been educating future generations for over 90 years, we believe that qualifications and training are key to many rewarding career paths, with our highly qualified teaching staff and their wealth of industry knowledge on hand we will open the door to a successful and rewarding future. Students are at the heart of everything we do, and we want them to leave us having had more than just an education.
Why work for us?
As well as competitive salaries, our pension schemes are some of the best available. These are administered via the Local Government Pension Scheme or the Teacher's Pension Scheme and provide pensions that are increased each year in line with inflation. We contribute at least £10 into your pension, for every £100 you earn. We have a range of potential flexible working options available including sabbatical leave and job share, where it meets the needs of the College. Sickness benefits here are generous, and staff are also provided with free access to independent occupational health, the Employee Support Helpline, a 24-hour life management and personal support helpline. The College also employs a dedicated Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator, who provides support and organises very popular events across the Group, as well as providing access to a variety of free wellbeing resources. There is free car parking at all of our main colleges as well as bike storage, and if you are based in the South we can also offer a 10% discount at the Lilliput Day Nursery in Neath.
The College is an educator and as such we actively promote and encourage Continuous Professional Development for all of our staff; we may even be able to contribute to the fees for higher degrees and other qualifications helpful to your job. On top of all this, working at the College gives us the privilege of being involved in helping our learners and our communities succeed and thrive.
