The placements we offer provide a varied and tangible learning experience that can be applied to roles in the future and support the university learning experience.
Role Overview:Suited to a talented and dynamic student who is passionate about learning more about the operations of a busy Fashion Studio. An exciting opportunity to work within a function that is at the centre of the business and supports the building of both the RTW and Accessories collection from initial designs to production launch.
The Duties:Help Support Studio Manager in smooth running of the studioAssist in Vintage Rental management, including liaising with external vendors, booking appointments, tracking bought and rented vintage and making returns within a timely mannerAssist Merchandising and Design teams during JOOR Styling and ShootAssist Studio Manager in organising seasonal look-book Shoot and Paris RunwayShows in partnership with Brand Communication Team including shipping paperwork, set up, team communications, travel and hotel bookings as requiredMaking sure fit room is clean and tidy and ready for meetingsOccasional runner dutiesAd hoc assistance where necessary to support teamsTaking stock of stationary/snack cupboard and replenishing as necessaryTaking lead on model bookings, castings and budget for fit models, overseen by the Studio ManagerHelping the Studio Manager with day-to-day coordination between teamsAdmin support including raising POs, booking couriersAssist in organising catering for styling
days in partnership with business support office.Support Studio Manager in tracking special projects and capsule collections from request to launch
Essential Skills:Excellent Organisational SkillsFamiliar with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and ExcelStrong communication (written and verbal) and people skillsPersonable and approachableProactive attitude and problem-solving abilitiesSelf-motivated and remains calm under pressureCurrently enrolled as a university student, pursuing a degree in Fashion Management, or related field.
