Full Job Description

Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a knowledgeable and student-focused HE Co-ordinator - Student Support, Wellbeing & Inclusion to join our Higher Education team. This exciting role involves coordinating inclusive support for Higher Education students, with a particular focus on students with disabilities and those eligible for Disabled Students' Allowances (DSAs). You will also lead a dedicated team of Disability Specialists to ensure our students receive high-quality, timely, and personalised support.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
As SSWI HE Co-ordinator, you will be instrumental in supporting student inclusion and academic success across our HE provision. Key responsibilities include:

Providing specialist advice and managing a complex caseload of HE students requiring disability-related support.
Coordinating the delivery of Disabled Students' Allowances and Non-Medical Helper (NMH) support.
Ensuring effective implementation of reasonable adjustments and inclusive practices across the curriculum.
Monitoring student progress and implementing early, targeted interventions where needed.
Line-managing a team of Disability Specialists, overseeing performance, development, and service delivery.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders including curriculum teams, funding bodies, and medical professionals.
Tracking data and reporting on student support, DSA funding, and NMH provision.
