Student Support Officer

Anglian Learning is pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for a Student Support Officer to join Stour Valley Community School, duties include:
supporting the Raising Standards Leads in providing pastoral care and behaviour support to the students
supporting the systems that will enable the school to improve on the base figures on attendance and truancy as set by the government
providing support to allow students to better cope with the challenges they face.

experience of working with children in a professional setting
the ability to write detailed reports, letters and complete complex returns
the ability to establish respectful and trusting relationships with children, their families, carers and other adults
good organisational skills to manage your time effectively.
