We are seeking a Student Support & Learner Engagement Manager to support student success through the effective use of the University's Student Support System and Learner Engagement Analytics (LEA), within the Student Experience Directorate. You will be the functional lead for engagement systems and data, ensuring consistent use across faculties and professional services. Working closely with academic staff, IT and student-facing teams, you will analyse engagement data, identify risks and trends, and support timely, coordinated student interventions. A key element of the role is supporting the embedding of systems, processes and ways of working by developing guidance, delivering training and supporting colleagues to use insight effectively. Over time, the role will focus on optimisation, continuous improvement and business-as-usual support. You will also contribute to clear, student-centred communications about engagement monitoring and support.

You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience, with experience in student support or higher education administration. You will have worked with systems and data to inform service delivery. You will bring:

  • Experience using student records, engagement analytics or CRM-style systems
  • Understanding of student engagement, retention and support
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate insights clearly
  • Experience working collaboratively with academic and professional services teams
  • You will be an effective communicator with strong organisational and project management skills and an understanding of GDPR and ethical data use.

In addition, we offer a range of work life balance and family friendly, inclusive employment policies, campus facilities and flexible working arrangements.
