An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified State Registered radiographer/midwife/nurse to join our ultrasound team to undertake a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound.

The range of work would include all aspects of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and General Abdominal Ultrasound. Small parts can be included as credits and/or as part of in house training.

Training will take 12 months and the practical work will be undertaken in the ultrasound department. The academic course will be carried out at King's College University, in academic blocks. The other days will be clinical placement in various departments to gain clinical skills., The post-holder will be expected to complete the ultrasound training course (Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound) with attendance at King's College University on a day release basis and clinical training provided within the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex Hospital Ultrasound Depts.
