Package Description: Are You Ready to Train as a Health Visitor? HCRG Care Group is excited to offer funded SCPHN (Specialist Community Public Health Nursing) training posts for the course starting in January 2027. We are looking for dedicated, reflective, and dynamic Nurses or Midwives who are passionate about making a real difference to children, families, and communities across Surrey. This year we have 6 Health Visitor SCPHN student posts available across Surrey. The course is delivered exclusively through Oxford Brookes University and leads to a Master's level qualification. About the Course The SCPHN programme at Oxford Brookes University is a Master's level course (PG Dip / MSc) and is available on both a full-time and part-time basis. The course combines online distance learning with supervised practice placements: Online distance learning - 2 days per week (theoretical and academic component) Practice placement - 3 days per week (clinical learning and hands-on

This temporary role in Surrey aligns with a Band 5 NHS salary plus fringe benefits, leading to a Masters level qualification. Candidates commit to a 50/50 learning split between online and hands-on practice placements. Applicants must be NMC registered, hold a degree or diploma, be UK residents, and possess a UK driving license. Six spots are available, depending on qualification and readiness to work starting January 2027. An assessment day is scheduled in Guildford for shortlisted candidates.
