Full Job Description
The team are recruiting an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual for the role of Student Recruitment Officer (On Campus). As Student Recruitment Officer (On Campus) you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining a programme of on-campus activity to support the recruitment of students from across the UK to Lancaster's degree programmes, working to increase the number and quality of applications in line with the department's objectives and wider University strategy.
We welcome schools and colleges to our outstanding campus all year round. Our bespoke group visits, provide students with a great opportunity to experience what university life is really like at Lancaster, a world-class research and teaching university. As Student Recruitment Officer (on campus) you will be involved in the delivery of on-campus, application and lead generating student recruitment events, such as schools and college visits, academic taster sessions and teacher and advisor conferences. The role holder will also coordinate, train and support our team of Student Ambassadors who annually visit their previous schools and colleges to promote Lancaster University.
The position provides the perfect opportunity to develop and build strong working relationships with influencers and advisors and would suit an energetic individual who is skilled at programming events and presenting to varying audiences and engaging with prospective students from a variety of backgrounds.
Please note, this role will require, throughout certain times of the year, periods of travel around the UK supporting the department's attendance at recruitment events, working outside office hours and working occasional weekends.
This post is offered as a full-time, indefinite role, working a minimum of 2 days a week from our Lancaster campus, though flexible arrangements may be considered. The role is offered on a blended work schedule with both on-campus and home working.
