Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for driving positive student progress alongside our curriculum teams? We are looking for two exceptional Student Progress Managers to champion these new roles. These campus-based positions offer a fantastic opportunity to become deeply embedded in college life while providing vital student support across our campuses. Depending on your unique expertise, you will take cross-college oversight and operational leadership of either our Tutorial or Enrichment Provision, empowering you to shape the future of student services and engagement. In this dynamic role, you will act as a Deputy DSL, providing outstanding first-response support and leading the operational delivery of safeguarding interventions. You will also line manage and develop a dedicated team of Student Progress Mentors (SPMs), rigorously monitoring attendance targets and deploying swift support frameworks to maximise student retention and success. To succeed, you should have a proven track record of delivering highly effective interventions for young people in an educational setting. A thorough understanding of FE challenges, Safeguarding, and Equality & Diversity is essential.

  • Management qualification at or above level 5 or working towards
  • Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) trained
  • Thorough and demonstrable understanding and knowledge of the challenges and current issues related to FE including related legislation, for example Equality and Diversity and SEN
  • Relevant experience in supporting young people within an education setting
  • Track record of highly effective interventions with young people.
  • Experience of successfully leading cross college initiatives
