Student Engagement Assistant

Applications are invited for the post of Student Engagement Assistant in the Department of Student Engagement and Insights in the Student Journey Division.
Please note: This opportunity is only available to current students of Royal Holloway University of London. We encourage students who have previously volunteered as a Peer Guide/Peer Mentor to apply for this paid position.
This is an exciting opportunity for current students to join the Student Engagement and Insights department and support the expansion of the university's Peer Mentor scheme.

As a Student Engagement Assistant, you will assist the Peer Mentor team directly with the administration of the scheme, including the allocation of new students to a 'Peer Mentor', a student mentor, in small groups. You will be actively engaged in and enthusiastic about student life at Royal Holloway and be motivated to support new students' transition into Higher Education. An excellent communicator, the post holder will be proactive, friendly and knowledgeable about Royal Holloway, with good organisational skills.
This is a fixed-term, casual post, starting from September 2026. We anticipate the role to work a total of 50 hours, which can be allocated flexibly over the summer and into the first term of the academic year.
