Student Accommodation Support Officer £32,397 - £37,280 p.a. pro rata Full time/Permanent The postholder will be based at City campus but will be required to travel to and work at all University sites and include off campus private halls of residence. The postholder will be required to work shifts including weekends and evenings as part of the role as standard.
About the Role
To provide early intervention and support to students living within halls of residence and experiencing a range of personal, practical and behavioural difficulties that impact on the student and the wider community. Responding proactively to requests for specialist support for NTU students living in UPP and private halls of residence, making recommendations for action and monitoring outcomes. To complete welfare checks and pre-arranged appointments. Working closely with key university staff and other stakeholders providing advice and guidance to support individual students and groups of students and remove barriers to student attainment and progression. Create and deliver training to residential staff and volunteers in identifying students at risk and who may need additional welfare support. To identify trends and areas of concerns across halls and lead on targeted campaigns to support early intervention. For more details, please take a look at the role profile.
