Full Job Description
You're a Structural Revit Technician looking to take the next step-owning delivery, improving coordination, and supporting others in the team. At Stantec, you'll join our Civil & Structural Engineering team in Cardiff, working across a diverse portfolio of projects within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This is a role where you'll have real influence over how technical outputs are produced and delivered., You will play a central role in project delivery through the production and coordination of 2D and 3D structural models, drawings, and schedules. You'll ensure outputs are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements, maintaining consistency across all stages of delivery. You'll work closely with engineers and other disciplines, supporting the integration of technical information and ensuring effective coordination throughout the project lifecycle. This includes managing document control processes and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. Alongside technical delivery, you'll support team coordination-planning your workload, assisting in allocating tasks, and helping to maintain quality across outputs. You'll also contribute to site-related activities, including inspections, surveys, and reporting, ensuring designs are practical and aligned with construction requirements. You'll work with colleagues to improve processes and workflows, contributing to continuous improvement and helping to raise technical standards across the team. YOUR IMPACT You'll play a key role in ensuring technical outputs are clear, coordinated, and buildable, directly supporting the successful delivery of projects. Your work will help bridge design and construction, ensuring that what is produced can be delivered effectively on site. Internally, your impact will be seen in the consistency of delivery and the development of others. By supporting junior team members and contributing to improved processes, you'll help strengthen team capability while continuing to develop your own progression.
- Experience working as a Structural Revit Technician within a design environment
- EngTech status or equivalent experience
- Strong capability in producing and coordinating structural models and drawings
- Good understanding of project stages, health and safety, and quality assurance processes
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage workload and support the delegation of tasks
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members desirable
- Proactive approach to continuous professional development
- Interest in improving workflows and contributing to technical standards
- Awareness of project delivery processes, including coordination and quality assurance
