Structural Fabrication Team Leader

Team Leader - Wiltech Acoustics Wiltech Acoustics - now proudly part of Rehlko (formerly Kohler Energy) - is entering an exciting phase of growth and investment. Based in Loughborough, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house - from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units. Joining Wiltech now means becoming part of a strengthened, well-funded and expanding organisation, with new opportunities created through the Rehlko transition. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of fabricators and platers, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output.
• Set and monitor weekly objectives, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to Wiltech's high standards.
• Review and interpret technical and engineering drawings to understand required structures and materials.
• Assist welders by preparing plates for welding and supporting during welding processes.
• Ensure team members adhere to ISO9001 policies and safety standards.
• Provide expert advice on material and tooling requirements, ensuring the team is fully equipped for each task.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to improve team productivity.
• Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, holiday requests, and attendance tracking.
• Communicate with the Production Team and other Team Leaders to resolve any issues and maintain an efficient production flow.
What We're Looking For
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proven experience in structural fabrication environment.
• Competent in using engineering measurement equipment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to production demands.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.
• Hours - Afternoons 2pm till 10pm (15% shift allowance). Nights 10pm till 6am Sun to Thurs (30% shift allowance).
