Full Job Description
As a Structural Mechanical Design Engineer, you will manage CAD activities, lead and execute the detailed design of carbody shell structures through advanced 3D modelling techniques. This role involves creating precise 2D designs of primary components and assemblies, ensuring that all elements align with engineering standards and project requirements. You will be responsible for applying relevant mechanical domain instructions, processes, and tools to maintain consistency, quality, and compliance throughout the design lifecycle. We'll look to you for:
- Managing CAD activities
- 3D Detailed design of structural parts considering
- Allocated volumes given as inputs
- Interfaces defined with stakeholders
- Load cases
- Technical referential (materials characteristics, ECA constraints, F&S constraints)
- Manufacturability constraints
- 2D or annotated 3D Detailed design of structural parts considering internal rules of data structuration
- Contribute to Providing weight data to Weight Discipline Engineer
- Contribute to Calculation optimisation with Structural Integrity Discipline Engineer

- 3D Modelling, drawing creation
- Experience or understanding of CAD activities and 3D detailed design of structural parts
- Knowledge of materials characteristics, manufacturability constraints, and technical referential requirements
- Proficiency in technical communication and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with internal rules of data structuration
- A continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry advancements
- Familiarity with load cases, ECA constraints, and F&S constraints
