Stroke Rehabilitation Nurse - Abingdon Community Hospital

You will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre-registration students. The post holder will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and the maintenance of high standards of quality patient care on a shift to shift basis.

We are seeking highly motivated registered nurses who have experience in stroke rehabilitation or nurses who would like to make the change to develop in this specialist area.

Our multidisciplinary team are encouraged to actively participate in several projects running within the service and as an active research unit, we collaborate with teams from the University of Oxford.
