Strength and Conditioning Coach

This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements

As the Strength and Conditioning coach at the University of Leeds, you will plan and deliver a suite of S&C programmes across our performance sport offer. You will ensure athletes benefit from high-quality, evidence-based training and support that optimises performance, minimises injury risk, and fosters long term athletic development. This role will work collaboratively with coaches, physiotherapists, academic staff, and external partners, and play a key part in shaping the strategic direction of performance sport at the University.
This is a full-time role working 35 hours each week. There will be some requirements to work evenings and weekends., To support the design, delivery, and ongoing development of strength and conditioning (S&C) across the University of Leeds sport programmes. The postholder will help ensure athletes benefit from high-quality, evidence-based training and support that optimises performance, minimises injury risk, and promotes long-term athletic development. Working collaboratively with coaches, physiotherapists, academic staff, and external partners, the role will contribute to the effective delivery and continuous improvement of performance sport provision at the University.
