Streetworks Inspector

The Network Coordination Team within Calderdale Council's Strategic Infrastructure Department is responsible for delivering the Council's duties under the All Streets Permit Scheme, the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA), and the wider Network Management function., Reporting to the Street Works Engineer and Network Coordination Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that road and street works undertaken on the Authority's highway network comply with permit conditions and statutory requirements. This will involve carrying out inspections in accordance with permits issued under the All Streets Permit Scheme, as well as undertaking inspections relating to other highway activities including scaffolding, skips, temporary highway obstructions, and vehicle crossing applications.
