Street Cleansing Operative

Location: Isle of Wight

Hours: 40 hours per week: 5/ 6.00am - 1.30/2.30pm.

Days: 5 days from 7 on a rota basis

Duration: Temporary Ongoing

Duties:

Emptying public rubbish bins including dog waste.
litter picking,
clearing pavements, paths, drains and gullies of green waste.
weed removal,
gum and graffiti removal,
vehicle checks and reporting maintenance,
adherence to health and safety and highways regulations,

Experience:

Must have full clean driver's license with a good awareness of health and safety.
Must be physically fit due to nature of duties and be able to undertake manual handling.
Must be able to work well as part of a team and on own initiative, outside, in all weathers.

Salary: £12.71 per hour worked.
