An exciting vacancy has arisen for the position of Street and Asset Cleaning Operative working as part of Test Valley Borough Council's Environmental Service team. The position is manually challenging but equally rewarding for enthusiastic and hardworking team players. Experience of working outdoors in all weathers and in busy environments is essential.
Reporting to the Grounds Maintenance Manager (Technical), this post will involve using cleaning processes and will primarily focus on our high profile and heavy usage areas across the borough ensuring they are clean and well maintained. Ad hoc cleaning requests will feature and an ability to think on your feet and prioritise will be required. Cleaning of our play area equipment and other assets will be scheduled in for ensuring longevity and safety of the equipment. There will be an opportunity to assist with some general maintenance tasks as well as supporting the wider service at times.
