Full Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Strategic Platform Development Product Owner. The Strategic Platform Development Product Owner is tasked with creating and implementing the next-generation features of our wealth platforms for Direct-to-Consumer, Financial Planning, and Private Bank services. This position requires collaboration with technology teams to enhance customer and advisor interfaces and platform infrastructure, ensuring scalability, readiness for the future, and alignment with customer requirements, regulatory guidelines, growth objectives, and cutting-edge technologies like AI. Additionally, the role involves working closely with various departments such a proposition, design, product, distribution, operations, technology, risk, compliance, behavioural insight, and commercial teams to empower customers to invest confidently and easily while driving business expansion.,
- Develop and implement the future-state platform capabilities required to support our long terms strategy (e.g AI, personalisation & data orchestration etc.) and capability roadmap across the full wealth continuum - including advised, hybrid and self-directed models
- Translate business objectives, customer insights, and market trends into a clear product vision and prioritised backlog. Anticipate and respond to disruptive technology trends, ensuring the platform remains market leading.
- Customer centric design & delivery - champion exceptional customer experiences across all digital channels, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and usability. Embedding research, behavioural insight, and data into every stage of the product lifecycle and ensuring alignment with Consumer Duty.
- Continuously optimise digital journeys to improve client satisfaction, digital engagement, and commercial outcomes such as retention and AUM.
- Foster strong relationships and extensive collaboration with key internal stakeholders such as Technology, Proposition, Product, UX/UI and Risk, Compliance & Marketing. Acting as the connective tissue between product, technology, compliance, proposition and distribution teams. To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements
- Experienced Product Owner executing platform or capabilities within a digitally enabled wealth or investing firm. Must have experience driving enterprise-wide change and major transformation initiatives in a complex, regulated environment
- Implemented customer-first digital or platform enhancements with a deep understanding of mobile and browser-based product development
- Experience implementing emerging technologies, ideally AI, within customer-facing propositions.
- Strong agile delivery experience and ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced backlog.
- Strong commercial skills mirrored with excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence at senior levels.
