Full Job Description
The Strategic Community Safety Partnership Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Safer Northumberland Partnership and helping to deliver community safety priorities across Northumberland. Working closely with the Strategic Community Safety and Partnership Manager, you will provide high-quality administrative, governance and financial support to a wide range of partnership activity. The role involves coordinating multi-agency meetings, managing diaries and correspondence, maintaining confidential records, producing reports and performance information, and supporting the governance arrangements of the Safer Northumberland Partnership. You will work with senior officers and partner agencies, ensuring information is managed accurately and efficiently while helping to keep partnership priorities on track. We are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a varied role at the centre of partnership working and community safety activity. Based at County Hall, Morpeth, the post offers flexible working arrangements and occasional travel across the county to support meetings and events.
- Relevant Level 4 qualification in Business Administration, or equivalent experience in an administrative/support role.
- Demonstrable experience providing high-quality administrative or secretarial support, including organising and coordinating meetings.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, data management and GDPR requirements.
- Ability to travel occasionally to meetings and events across Northumberland.
