• Receiving, checking, and organising deliveries
• Collecting and transporting food trolleys
• Maintaining a clean and safe delivery area
• Delivering meals around the outskirts of the prison using a 7.5tonne vehicle
• Working closely with the kitchen team to deliver meals three times per day
• Ensuring accurate stock rotation using the FIFO method.
  
  Due to the sector requirements, applicants must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years, have the legal right to work, and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
Location: HMP Parc & YOI, Bridgend, CF35 6AP,
• Category C1 driving licence (including grandfather rights where applicable)
• Ability to pass DBS and HMPPS vetting (no prior criminal record required)
• Physically fit and comfortable handling hot food trolleys and tail lift vehicles
• A positive, proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• UK residency for 5+ years with valid right to work
  
  Salary: £24,471.48 per annum
Hours: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday Shift times: Earlies/Lates - alternate weeks. Earlies 06:45 - 13:15, Lates 14:30 - 21:00 with occasional absence cover and functions Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7, including alternate weekends Shift times: between 6:00am and 4:30pm This is a brilliant opportunity for a reliable, motivated individual who enjoys being active, working as part of a team, and delivering an essential service - all within family friendly daytime hours.
