Full Job Description

ROLE: Stores Admin Assistant 18 Months FTC LOCATION: Coventry At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We are looking for a proactive and organised Stores Administrator to support the efficient operation of our stores function, ensuring stock, equipment and materials are effectively managed to meet operational requirements. Role Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming and outgoing deliveries, maintaining accurate records of goods received and dispatched.
  • Issue goods, tools and equipment to operational staff as required.
  • Raise purchase orders using Concept (CAFM) and Coupa, and receipt goods against orders within both systems.
  • Monitor stock levels and replenish inventory using low-level stock reports to maintain agreed minimum stock holdings.
  • Obtain supplier quotations, place orders and proactively chase deliveries to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Maintain and update calibration registers, tool registers and key management records.
  • Support regular stocktakes and investigate any stock discrepancies.
  • Complete all administrative duties associated with an efficient and compliant stores operation.
  • Required Qualifications Applicants must meet the below-defined requirements for the role:
  • Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, logistics or stock control environment.
  • Good working knowledge of inventory management processes and stock control procedures.
  • Competent IT skills, including experience of using purchasing, CAFM or stock management systems.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A commitment to maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent customer service.
