Full Job Description
- Assist in unloading deliveries and moving stock to the correct storage areas
- Ensure all stock is put away promptly and stored in line with First in, First Out (FIFO)
- Help with temperature checks and visual checks on incoming stock, reporting any issues to the head chef
- Keep all back-of-house areas, both inside and outside, clean, tidy, and well organised
- Support with the collection and correct storage of pallets and any redundant equipment
- Assist in the cleanliness of the kitchen areas and supporting the kitchen team set up / set down tasks
- Dispose of waste materials in designated areas and assist with maintaining a clean workspace
- Work as part of a small team to meet daily operational goals
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, delivery drivers, and other departments
- Follow all health, safety, and food safety guidelines
We're looking for motivated and reliable Team Members to join our dynamic hotel back-of-house team to support with the daily deliveries and storage of goods within the Hotel Food & Beverage department. Working across two hotels and a woodland village, no two days are ever the same. If you're after a hands-on role, this could be the position for you!, Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions accurately - Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Physically fit, able to move stock and heavy items safely
- Familiarity with stock handling and food safety (training will be provided)
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
