Full Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our existing Steward and Portering team. These roles are crucial in supporting the provision of a high standard of cleaning, steward and portering services to all customers across the University, including our students, staff and visitors. Experience of basic building repair and manual work, and interacting with customers is essential, along with the ability to use appropriate lifting equipment & PPE, and a willingness to undergo training as appropriate. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work well in a team and on your own, along with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines. This is a part-time position, operating 5 days over 7. Hours of work are 26.4 per week, and flexibility regarding working hours is required as some out of hours and weekend working will be required.
