Full Job Description
We have a vacancy within the accredited Sterile Services Department at Furness General Hospital for 1 part time Sterilisation / Endoscopy Technician working:- Saturday & Sunday 09:00 - 17:30 You will be responsible for the decontamination and sterilisation of surgical instruments and providing sterile procedure packs to Endoscopy and the NHS Trust. Experience of working in an accredited Sterile Services unit is preferable. However training will be offered to right candidate. You will be responsible for the decontamination and sterilisation of surgical instruments and providing sterile procedure packs and Endoscopy for our NHS Trust, the PCT and the community for which it serves. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
