    This is a varied role requiring many different skills, for which we will provide full training. You must have GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent and willing to become familiar with many different instruments and sundries. Previous Sterile Services experience is helpful although not essential but you must be able to communicate well, work within a team and take instruction.
  • Applicants will also be given training to cover the full range of the decontamination cycle for surgical instruments and theatre sets which will contribute towards the achievement of the BTEC National Diploma in Decontamination for re-usable medical devices.,
  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above or equivalent, Achieved/Working toward BTEC3 or NVQ3 in Decontamination or equivalent, Verbal communication
  • Electronic communication
  • Working as part of a team
  • Basic use of IT systems
  • Recording information, Experience in customer care
  • Ability to identify several hundred surgical instruments
  • Experience in decontamination
