Sterile Services Endoscopy Technician / Driver

We have a vacancy within the accredited Sterile Services Department at Royal Lancaster Infirmary for 1 full time Sterilisation Endoscopy Technician / Driver working:- 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Sunday 06:30-14:30 & 14:00-22:00 to rotate as required. You will be responsible for the decontamination and sterilisation of surgical instruments and providing sterile procedure packs to Endoscopy and the NHS Trust. Experience of working in an accredited Sterile Services unit is preferable. However training will be offered to right candidate., You will be responsible for the decontamination and sterilisation of surgical instruments and providing sterile procedure packs and Endoscopy for our NHS Trust, the PCT and the community for which it serves.

• Technical certificate or NVQ 3 Decontamination or equivalent level of knowledge and experience through Decontamination Training., Guidance Score Good knowledge of all decontamination processes in the hospital sterile services department., Sterile Services or hospital experience, Good communication skills verbal and written
• To work under pressure and as part of a team or alone, Full UK driving licence
