Sterile Services Department AssistantLocation: Hereford County HospitalHours: 37.5 hours per weekPay: £12.92 per hourAsa Sterile Services Department Assistant,you'll play a vital role in supporting clinical teams across Hereford CountyHospital. You'll ensure that surgical instruments and medical equipment arecleaned, checked, packed and sterilized to the highest standards - helpingclinicians deliver safe, effective care every day.This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where accuracy, teamwork and attention to detail truly matter.What You'll DoProcessing, checking and packing medical instrumentsUsing correct manual handling techniques when lifting trays, theater bins and stock.Working in areas where exposure to bodily fluids can occur, always using the correct PPE.Operating sterilization equipmentUsing the T-DOC tracking system to input new trays, track equipment and create barcodes.Receiving, storing and supplying consumables to wards and departments.Supporting ward top-up services for
