Full Job Description
- Steel Supervisors must oversee steel erection activities ensuring compliance with plans and safety standards
- Competent Steel Supervisors must lead and direct steel erection teams and assist with pysical tasks associated with the role
- Suitable Steel Supervisors should be able to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications to ensure accurate assembly
- Competent Steel Supervisors should be able to coordinate site teams and materials to hit daily construction goals
- Competent Steel Supervisors should be able enforce health and safety policies, risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems
Right to work in the UK - DBS / Criminal Record Check (CRC)
- Must be able to provide proof of address
- Must be able to provide 5 Year address history
- Must be able to provide 5 year work history
- Previous experience in a Steel Supervisors role
- Strong knowledge of steel erection methods and safety
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- Gold CSCS (Supervisor level)
