Role: Steam Boiler Technician Hours: 40 hrs/week Location: Ware, SG12 0DJ At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Steam Boiler Technician who will deliver all critical operational equipment required for steam generating operations on behalf of utilities infrastructure. Role Responsibilities:
- Provide support for all critical operational equipment required for steam generating operations on behalf of utilities infrastructure.
- Carry out daily operational checks of the CHP plant and record required information on the agreed format. Complete Planned, Preventive Maintenance tasks on the CHP steam generation plant.
- Provide a comprehensive engineering service to the Site.
- Carry out isolations to Company standards to enable the safe disconnection of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- To check, test, set and adjust mechanical equipment to the levels to their proven competence and electrical resets where applicable. Required Qualifications:
- Demonstratable evidence of technical qualifications in the relevant field (Preferably BOAS D6A).
- Evidence of previous experience working on Steam generating boiler plant.
- Knowledge of working on BMS systems. Confirmed space entry and escape trained.
- Asbestos Awareness
