Full Job Description

As a Professional Service Staff Consultant , you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, helping them design and implement secure, scalable, and automated Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM), PKI, and Machine Identity Security solutions. You will lead customer engagements across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments-from discovery and architecture through implementation, integration, automation, and enablement. Working closely with security, PKI, cloud, DevOps, and engineering teams, you will translate customer requirements into practical solutions that improve security, visibility, governance, and operational efficiency. You will act as a customer advocate and subject matter expert, collaborating with internal Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, Engineering and Global Delivery Teams. The role is primarily consultative and delivery-focused, with an emphasis on solving complex customer challenges and driving successful technical outcomes rather than direct sales.,

  • Operate within a focused team to protect the world's largest organizations using Machine Identity Security solutions.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and practical solutions across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and self-hosted environments.
  • Lead customer engagements from discovery through architecture, design, implementation, integration, automation, testing, and enablement.
  • Prepare and deliver specialized technical workshops, demonstrations, and architecture sessions for technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Evaluate existing business processes, identify opportunities for improvement and automation, and track the success of customers' MIM programs.
  • Act as a customer advocate and subject matter expert, supporting multiple accounts and driving successful Machine Identity Security outcomes.
  • Develop and document reusable patterns, blueprints, and best practices to support customers and internal delivery teams.
  • Maintain close, collaborative relationships with PANW teams, partners, and customer organizations.

    Minimum of 7 years of consulting experience working within large-scale enterprise IT environments.
  • Proven business acumen to identify critical business problems and articulate effective solutions to customers.
  • Extensive experience automating Machine Identity Management using the MIM platforms, API's, Adaptable framework and connectors.
  • Strong expertise with scripting and APIs for automation utilizing PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
  • Direct working experience with modern containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • Hands-on experience working with major cloud platforms and technologies including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Proficiency with orchestration and CI/CD technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Jenkins.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills for engaging with diverse technical and business stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) including technology, standards, and enterprise implementations., AWS or Azure Architect Certification is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of various Cloud models, Cloud providers, multi-cloud environments, and hybrid environments.
  • Prior experience in a consultative, sales engineer, or enterprise architect role.
  • Formal software development training and hands-on coding experience.
  • Venafi Security Administrator (VSA) certification.
  • Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP.
  • Experience with technologies heavily utilizing TLS/SSL encryption such as F5, NetScaler, IIS, Apache, WebLogic, or WebSphere.
