Working to the NMC code and within the policies and procedures for the legal and statutory requirements relating to clinical practice. The post holder will take a role in providing support for an effective transition to parenthood and adulthood, improving the health and well-being of children, young people and their families. The aim of the service is to promote and protect the health and well-being of children, young people and their families from the ante-natal period through to age 19 and address inequalities. Fundamental to the aim of the service is universal access to the healthy child programme and early identification of additional and/or complex needs. To provide a continuously improving service in line with the Childrens Public Health Service (0 19) Clinical Governance Framework and Public Health Service Plan.,

• Use of equipment to support developmental assessment and screening and the provision of clinical care.

• Registered Nurse / Adult / Child / Mental Health or Registered Midwife
• Current NMC registration.
• Relevant and recent nursing experience, Child protection / Safeguarding Children / experience of national and local policies.
