Staff Nurse - Phoenix Ward

As a Staff Nurse you will work as part of our Multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care to our patients and support our Trust on its Journey to Outstanding Care. Phoenix Ward is an 18-bedded male acute ward with a Health Based Place of Safety. We provide care and treatment for up to 18 patients, experiencing a variety of mental health problems, along with physical and social needs too . You will have an opportunity to work with supportive teams and committed colleagues. We have a culture of continuous professional development and as a Staff Nurse we expect you to embrace change and engage in Quality Initiatives on the Ward to improve the service we provide. You will work within a needs-led model of care and will work in co-production with patients.

• A qualified RMN with passion and drive for developing your clinical skills in a changeable environment
• A keen interest in new and upcoming technologies within Nursing and Healthcare
• Be self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as showing initiative and promoting new ideas on how to improve the service
• Be compassionate, caring and creative with excellent communication skills
• A flexible and positive attitude with a willingness to accommodate our 24/7 service
