Our paediatric team provides comprehensive services. Our acute paediatric area is a 16 bedded unit. It takes a variety of admissions ranging from surgical, orthopaedic, oncology, haematology and various other conditions for children and young people aged 0-16 years old.
Our Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU) is now located next to our band Paediatric A&E, and is also a brand new welcoming environment. It is a 11 bedded 24hr facility used for the assessment and treatment of children who require urgent medical care.
Our paediatric team has 14 subspecialties providing acute care across a range of clinical specialties including but not limited to: oncology, haematology, respiratory, urology, ophthalmology, endocrine and day surgery.
