Full Job Description
- Newly Qualified Registered Nurses (NQRNs) who have completed placements within the Northern Care Alliance who have received their NMC PIN within the last 18 months and have not yet secured their first registered nursing position.
- Current employees of the Northern Care Alliance (those with a substantive contract of employment with the NCA) who have received their NMC PIN within the last 18 months and have not yet secured their first registered adult nursing position. Please note, this advert is not open to those who are due to qualify in September 2026, there will be a separate opportunity in the future. This advert is for those who are already in receipt of their NMC PIN at the point of submitting an application., As a Staff Nurse, you will:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a designated group of patients in line with established care pathways.
- Be a named care provider and work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Act in accordance with the NMC Professional Code of Conduct, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Support and supervise junior staff, students, and unregistered colleagues.
- Play an active role in the education and assessment of learners, providing mentorship and supervision where required.
