As a Band 5 NICU Nurse, your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Specialised Neonatal Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns in a level 2 centre, including ventilated and intensive care patients, in line with clinical guidelines and protocols.

Within NICU at UHD you will Provide critical care and specialist nursing to preterm and newborn babies requiring intensive and special care. UHD Neonatal Unit is a level 2 centre caring for preterm babies of 27 weeks gestation and above as well as sick term babies.
