Full Job Description

Are you an experienced Band 5 nurse looking for a unique opportunity? Health Based Place of Safety are recruiting a Band 5 Nurse. For this role we would ask that you have completed your preceptorship programme and can confidently carry out medication , accurately document and support junior staff. The post is supported by Band 6 Nurses , a Ward Manager and several extremely experienced junior staff. If you have further questions regarding the role please contact the Ward Manager.,

  • Liaison with AMPH to arrange Mental Health Act (MHA) assessments
  • Safe admission and discharge of patients placed on 135/136 MHA
  • Patient wellbeing whilst in the suite
  • Junior staff support
  • Liaison with other NHS trusts
  • Supporting assessments
  • Management of the environment
  • Medication
  • Documentation
  • Support bed management
  • Support B6 nurses
  • Audit and CQC readiness
  • Police liaison
  • Patient advocate
