Staff Nurse - Emergency Department - Royal Sussex County Hospital

The role requires excellent communication, rapid decision-making, and the ability to remain calm and compassionate in challenging situations. You will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while contributing to the smooth flow and performance of the Emergency Department.

Would you like to join our friendly emergency care team in Brighton's Major Trauma Centre? Do you have the desire to care for emergency care patients? We offer superb career and professional development opportunities and are looking for nurses with experience ideally in an emergency care or acute setting.

We currently have 5 resus and 26 majors cubicles, a busy minors area and a large ambulatory clinical decision unit. Excitingly a multimillion pound redevelopment of the acute floor has begun which will bring the emergency department up to date with a purpose built 8 bedded resus and modern fit for purpose department. The department sees around 250-300 patients per day.
