Join one of the UK's leading specialist cancer centres as a Band 5 Staff Nurse within our outstanding Chemotherapy Day Unit. We're looking for a SACT-trained Registered Nurse with chemotherapy administration experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

At The Christie Private Care, rated Outstanding by the CQC, you'll work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team providing specialist cancer treatments in a modern, purpose-built environment. As part of our day-case service, you'll play a vital role in assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care for patients undergoing systemic anti-cancer treatments.

You'll be responsible for the safe administration of chemotherapy, undertaking pre-treatment assessments, monitoring patients throughout their treatment, managing side effects and providing expert support and reassurance to patients and their families. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the service, you'll help ensure every patient receives the highest standard of personalised care throughout their cancer journey.

If you're committed to clinical excellence, compassionate care and delivering outstanding patient experiences, we'd love to hear from you., As a Staff Nurse within the Chemotherapy Day Unit at The Christie Private Care, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality cancer care to patients receiving systemic anti-cancer treatments (SACT). Working as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individualised patient care throughout their treatment journey.

You will use your SACT competency and chemotherapy administration experience to safely deliver treatments in line with clinical protocols, undertaking pre-treatment assessments, monitoring patients during therapy, and managing treatment-related side effects and complications. You will also provide expert advice, education and emotional support to patients and their families, helping to ensure a positive and reassuring treatment experience.

This role requires excellent clinical judgement, strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centred approach. Working within a specialist day-case environment, you will collaborate closely with consultants, pharmacists and allied healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of safety, governance and documentation.
