An exiting opportunity has arisen on the Burns Centre at Whiston Hospital. Professional development is supported within a friendly, dynamic team structure. Mersey Regional Burn Centre provides care to patients who have sustained burns. The unit has a large catchment area which includes as far away as North Wales and the Isle of Man. It serves a population of 4 million people. The Centre comprises of 12 beds which are:- 4 high dependency cubicles 4 single cubicles 4 bedded area If you are the individual for this role and are also flexible, supportive and ready for an exciting new experience then please apply. There will be opportunity to rotate within our Mersey Regional Plastics Unit. An Enhanced DBS with barred lists for both Adults & Children is required for this post.

• To develop the skills to care for acutely unwell patients.
• Liaise with senior Medical/Medical staff to provide a high quality service to patients and their families.
• Offer advice / support to staff as required.
• Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to maximise best use of resources.
• Demonstrate commitment to the principles of Improving Working Lives.
