We have vacancies for Experienced or Newly qualified Band 5 Staff Nurses to develop as a nurse in neurology medicine., You will be responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating the personalised health and wellbeing care needs of patients, in line with the Trust's Values & Nursing & Midwifery Professional Framework goals example: personal hygiene and comfort, vital signs and NEWS, early recognition and management of acutely ill patients, safe transportation, fluid balance monitoring, enteral feeding/ meeting nutritional needs, ECG, catheterisation, venepuncture, cannulation, blood transfusion, palliative care, care of PICC lines , admission and discharge, nasogastric tube insertion & care, care of IV infusion pumps, IVIG and cytotoxic infusions, psychological and spiritual support.

This position would be suited toan individual looking to gain experience in the acute setting. Eager to learn new skills in a thriving and supportive workplace, ensuring high quality care is given to our patient groupwhile working with a dedicated team of staff who are devoted to improve the quality of care and enhance patient's experience.

We are seeking highly motivated, flexible individuals with strong interpersonal skills that will look forward to the challenges of nursing patients who have both acute and chronic neurological conditions. Ideally the post holder will have experience of working in an acute hospital setting and be able to demonstrate clinical knowledge in caring for acutely unwell patients. In return bespoke training opportunities will be tailored to your personal needs to enable your development into this challenging role.
