Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Staff Nurse to join Maplewood - Pendleview. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mental health nurse to develop leadership experience while supporting high-quality, recovery-focused care in an acute inpatient setting. You will play a key role in clinical leadership on the ward, supporting junior staff, coordinating shifts, and ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care for service users experiencing acute mental health needs. Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and act as a role model for best practice
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in an acute mental health setting
- Support and supervise junior nursing staff and students
- Coordinate shifts and contribute to effective ward management
- Undertake risk assessments and care planning
- Completing 5 P formulations to formulate a plan of care and discharge plan
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
- Promote safeguarding, safety, and recovery-focused practice
