Cleveland House has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team. This role will be predominantly night shifts between 8pm and 8am, however there may be occasion where day shifts are needed., You will be part of a compassionate team that is committed to supporting people's wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.

  • Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework. Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse.
  • Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess need and evaluate progress.
  • Monitor and review Nursing Care plans., Cleveland House is located in Banks, Southport, in the west of Lancashire. It offers residential support for 32 males and females with an acquired brain injury (ABI), progressive neurological condition (PNC) and associated physical health needs. We are located on a residential housing estate.

  • Conditions such as epilepsy
  • Difficulties with communication
  • Difficulties with swallowing
  • May need respiratory support through a ventilator and/or tracheostomy

    - Qualified Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN or RNLD) some post-registration experience, holding an active NMC registration and having successfully completed a preceptorship programme.
  • - Demonstrate sound knowledge of NMC guidelines, standards, and professional practices, along with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • - Possess a positive attitude towards change, quality improvement, and service development, and is capable of adopting flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
  • - Excellent verbal and written communication skills are complemented by a minimum of six months' experience within a Mental Health or Learning Disabilities care environment, supported by evidence of continued professional development in the relevant field.
