Inpatient wards / units are designed to meet the acute holistic needs of service users/patients and carers, in a recovery focussed environment. This working environment is conducive to staff development and wellbeing.

The postholder will work collaboratively within the Physical Health Team within the Forensic Inpatient service to modernise and deliver a wide range of Primary Care Nursing Services - utilising the highest attainable quality of primary healthcare services in line with local Trust policy and national strategies for physical health within the Bay Network (Guild Lodge site).

Main duties of the job

Applications are invited from Registered General Nurses with clinical leadership qualities and aspirations with experience of working within a relevant clinical setting.

This post will be suited to someone with experience of chronic disease management or log term condition or have the willingness to undertake.

The postholder will act as a Clinical Leader within the department allocating duties and delegating responsibilities to the team in accordance with operational requirements.
