You'll have the time to engage with patients, build meaningful relationships, and support them throughout their journey from admission to discharge. Whether its caring for patients with a wide range of conditions, rehabilitation needs, or providing compassionate end-of-life care, we focus on providing personalised support at every stage. The hours are 34.5 hours as internal rotation over 3 days out of 7 on a rota basis to include long days, Nights, Weekends and Bank Holidays.Main duties of the job As a team we aspire to be compassionate, supportive and responsive to the needs of the patients we support. You will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients within our service, this will include but is not limited to, medication administration, wound care, phlebotomy, catheterisation, IVIs, ECGs, cannulation. Within this role you will work closely within the multi-disciplinary team to support ongoing goal setting and discharge planning, being an advocate for your patients as needed. You will play an integral part, undertaking a holistic assessment to support care planning. To do this you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be adaptable, reliable and resourceful.
