Full Job Description

The successful candidate will work within the highly skilled Multidisciplinary team where the patient is central to everything we do. They will take an active part in the delivery of care and rehabilitation programmes, ensuring that excellent standards are maintained., Whilst working as part of a multidisciplinary team you will support the ward sister/manager in the provision and maintenance of high-quality personalised nursing care by providing assessment and formulating care plans in partnership with the patient and their relatives/carers.

You will maintain high clinical standards whilst carrying out nursing procedures, including the safe custody and administration of medication using an electronic system.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a good understanding of It as you will be using electronic systems to record patient information. You will be responsible for your own continued development and take an active part in the development of other unit staff by acting as a role model and motivator, ensuring compliance with the clinical governance framework.
